Tête-å-Tête in Bengal: Chittranjan Park


Walk Description : A lively treasure hunt walk through the Bengali Hub of Delhi. Discover stories, history, and cuisine of Bengal of a vibrant locality.Visit its temples, markets; buy some interesting vegetables from Bengal, savour the famous puchkas, jhaal moori and other roadside food available only in CR Park. All this in the spirit of the famous Bengali Adda where everyone gets to share and freely participate.

Sharmila Sinha is a friendly, lively self employed teacher and environmentalist with deep understanding of issues and Bengali culture. She has had wide experience of interacting and leading diverse group of people through walks and expeditions.

KLoD B, Knowing Loving Delhi Better, is collective of people interested in exploring and discovering their habitat, city and its environs. KLoD.B walks involve meeting people, visiting known and lesser known places which include monuments, parks, forests, markets, festivals, museums and food and anything  else. KLoD. B is perhaps the oldest walking group in the city. It started walking in 1996 and is still going strong with eager, curious, exploratory people keeping it alive and young!
