The curse of a Saint-Tughlakabad Fort

 

Enjoy this walk through the Tughlakabad Fort, an impressive 14th century fort now in ruins bore the curse of a Sufi Saint. It visited by Moroccan traveller Ibn Batuta whose book, Rehla, gives fascinating insight into the reign of a maverick ruler who sent an ambassador to China and extended the Kingdom of Delhi till the southern peninsula. Listen to the stories and know about the history of this once majestic fort.

Sunil Raman, a former journalist with BBC and The Economic Times is a co-author of Delhi Durbar 1911-The Complete Story.
