Bird Watching and Bird Photography at Okhla Bird Sanctuary

 

This is a guided Delhi photography walk to Okhla Bird Sanctuary, famous for its migratory as well as resident birds. It is haven to over 300 bird species, especially waterbirds. The birds to look out for will be eagles, barbets, warblers, kingfishers, bee-eaters, sun birds, starlings, storks, ducks, other wading birds and also keep an eye out for some exotic butterflies. we will choose different trails to see these birds and the bird watching tour will give you a 360 degree view of Okhla Bird Sanctuary.


Photographers of all skill levels are welcome. Main focus in this tour will be to show various bird species and provide photo opportunities to you. We will also go through some photography tips and pointers specifically related to bird photography.

Sherpa Abhishek is  a wedding & fashion photographer by profession, and he found his true calling in nature and wildlife a while back. He travels and documents nature/wildlife all across India and abroad and his articles and pictures have been published in wildlife, travel and lifestyle magazines.

Tips:  carry a bottle of water and avoid wearing bright coloured clothes


Extra costs: Park Entry: Rs. 30 for Indian National and Rs. 350 for Foreign National; Carry 200-300 Rs. extra for coffee/breakfast, if needed.
