Summer of ‘57


The dastaan of 1857 began when a garrison of Indian soldiers of the British East India Company attacked the British soldiers and their families in the cantonment, triggering events which altered the course of Delhi’s and consequently India’s history. Revisit this decisive and poignant moment in history through a literal and metaphorical through some of the significant sites that were part of the inevitable Uprising of 1857.
