Walk in Neighbourhood of Old Fort

 

One of the most fascinating places of Delhi; this walk will actually show you the perfect mix of old and new. Just like the Old fort across the road, its neighbourhood has many monuments scattered around with a good mix of secular and religious buildings giving a sneak peak into the interesting stories from the past. The monuments in this walk include Khairul Manazil, Sher Shah Gateway, Bagh e- Bedil, Matka Pir etc. After the walk, you can always visit the crafts museum and its very famous café.

Walk leader Gaurav was born and brought up in Delhi. Having taken an Honours Degree in History from Dayal Singh College, University of Delhi and subsequently enhanced his passion by Completing INDIA: ART & CULTURE Certificate from National Museum Institute. His experience of working in Art Galleries gave him a fair idea of what Art Connoisseur look A short stint at khalsa College, St.Stephen's college and at Department of History in University of Delhi and long experience of researching on Historical personalities lent him enough credentials to narrate well researched Historical events as well as legends in English, Hindi & Hindustani.
