Qutub Complex

 

Come and explore the World Heritage Archaeological complex of Qutub which is home to some of the oldest Monuments of Delhi. They stand witness to the rise and fall of dynasties, founding of new cities and emergence of city culture. We explore the intriguing presence of Iron pillar, disproportionate arches of Mihrab, why Qutb Minar is tilted and what saves it from falling.

Walk leader Gaurav was born and brought up in Delhi. Having taken an Honours Degree in History from Dayal Singh College, University of Delhi and subsequently enhanced his passion by Completing INDIA: ART & CULTURE Certificate from National Museum Institute. His experience of working in Art Galleries gave him a fair idea of what Art Connoisseur look A short stint at khalsa College, St.Stephen's college and at Department of History in University of Delhi and long experience of researching on Historical personalities lent him enough credentials to narrate well researched Historical events as well as legends in English, Hindi & Hindustani.
