This walk will centre around the 3 poets who are laid to rest near Nizamuddin, and the cultural landscape of their times. These poets are Hazrat Amir Khusrau Dehlvi, Abdul Rahim Khan-i-Khanan and Mirza Ghalib.
Mr. Chandrashekhar Tampi will lead the walk. After reading history for 5 years and law for 3 sometime in the last century, Chandra thought of trying his hand at teaching. He now makes a living as an advocate and walks around Delhi with whom he shares a love-hate relationship. He would like to believe that Faiz was talking of people like him when he wrote:
“Hum jeete jee masroof rahe, kuch ishq kiya, kuch kaam kiya”.
