Mirza Ghalib’s Shahjahanabad: Purani Dilli As The Poet’s Muse

There are no better words to describe the phenomenon called Mirza Ghalib. With his ghazals and couplets, our very own 'Chacha Ghalib' still breathes in the lanes and bylanes of Purani Dilli!

Join us on a one of its kind walk where as we recite some of his finest poetry & letters while you walk around exploring Ghalib's Puraani Dilli, the Haveli (Mansion) where he lived, hear the quirky little anecdotes that took place with him in the alleys of Shahjahanabad, the intellectual glory of the period as he describes it, the gradual decay that he saw in his city and finally his acute sadness as he saw the city crumble after the Mutiny of 1857.
