Students at Apalachee High School in northern Georgia stood in a circle and prayed together after being evacuated over a deadly shooting, harrowing footage shows.
More than 40 students were photographed holding hands and standing in a ring on the school’s football field Wednesday.
The students had their heads bowed, and appeared to be praying, according to images captured by WSB-TV.
A gunman opened fire at the school in Winder — about an hour northeast of Atlanta — around 10:30 a.m., leaving at least four people dead and 30 injured, CNN reported.
It is unclear whether all the injuries came from gunfire.
